Academic excellence is one of the major pillars of the College’s educational model. Our extracuricular activities help to deepen, extend and expand our students’ knowledge gained at their universities.

Courses
Over 40 courses are organized annually, which serve as the academic backbone for the College. The courses are held weekly, in small groups for 1-2 semesters, thus, they are quite demanding and highly interactive. Like other lectures, conferences and seminars, these courses are organized by the students for themselves in accordance with their personal interests and needs.
Permanent Professors
“Permanent Professors of Rajk College” is a title given by Rajk’s student community to our course instructors to recognize pedagogical and professional excellence. It is given to instructors who have had a great impact on the college members’ professional development. We are very grateful to our Permanent Professors for their years-long dedication and hard work.
Rajk Working Papers
Rajk Working Papers (RWP) aims to present the output of our academic work at Rajk College. A selection of the most outstanding student papers are published in the series annually.
RWP articles are the summaries of college members’ writings: final papers for Rajk courses, studies admitted to University Scientific Student Conference (TDK) and National Scientific Student Conference (OTDK), and other forms of academic work.
Heller Award
Farkas Heller Award was founded in order to recognize creative academic work in the college. The main criteria of the award is outstanding academic performance according to the college’s professional standards. The nominees are chosen by the Academic Committee, and the winner is picked by the College Assembly.

Odysseus Program
The main purpose of they Odysseus program is to reward academic excellence. College members who wish to participate various in Hungarian or international academic events that they could otherwise not afford, may apply to the program in order to gain financial aid. These opportunities are essential for professional development, but many college members could not afford them without financial support. The chosen applicants recieve grants from the college. The winners are also required to channel back the knowledge they gained as part of the program, to the community.

Bár a kollégium szakmai rendszerét együtt, 90-100-an építjük és élvezzük, a kurzusokat közösen találjuk ki, azonban a kurzusrendszer fenntartására és a szakmaiság általános pörgetésére bizottságot választunk. Ezt a 4 tagból és egy elnökből álló csapatot Szakmai Munka Tanácsának hívjuk.
